Poland officially has a total of 887 towns. The largest is Warsaw Krakow, the historic capital of the kings who resided
at the Wawel castle, is today Poland’s cultural and entertainment Centre.
Language: Polish is spoken by 50 million people and is part of the
western branch of Slavic languages, and belongs to the Indo-European family.

Most major Polish cities have airports
with connecting services with the Frederic Chopin International Airport
in Warsaw.
Intercity travel includes the PKP's Intercity
train, Przewozy Regionalne, local trains and PKS's overland bus coach
services.
